Contract Controller is licensed based on the number of concurrent users connected to the server, rather than the total number of people who may need access to the system.
This means the Contract Controller client application can be installed on as many PCs or laptops as required, with your license determining how many users can be connected at the same time.
For example, a 10-user license allows up to 10 users to work in Contract Controller simultaneously, while additional employees can still have the client application installed ready for use.
For requirements of more than 20 concurrent users, please contact us for a competitive quotation.
Real-time contract tracking for factory floor employees.
Flexible licensing that can grow with your business..
Contract Controller operates using a central server, where the application and your company data are securely stored and managed. Employees connect to the server using the Contract Controller client application installed on their PCs or laptops.
The server is typically located within your office and accessed by users through your existing company network. Where remote access to the office network is available, authorised users can also connect to Contract Controller when working away from the office.
Contract Controller is licensed according to the number of concurrent users connected to the server, rather than the number of PCs on which the client application is installed.
For example, a 5-user licence allows up to five users to be connected to Contract Controller at the same time. The client application can be installed on additional PCs or laptops, allowing more employees to have access without requiring a separate licence for every installation.
Flexible licensing — based on how many people use Contract Controller at the same time.
Contract Controller is continually developed and enhanced, with regular improvements, new functionality and updates to maintain compatibility with current operating systems and technologies.
When a new version of Contract Controller is released, we can install the update directly onto your server. Wherever possible, upgrades are carried out outside your normal working hours, helping to ensure there is no disruption to your working day.
Our support team is readily available by telephone and can also provide secure remote assistance, allowing us to see what your users are seeing and provide practical, real-time help directly on their PC.
Your Contract Controller package includes 16 hours of training, tailored around the requirements of your business and the areas of the system your employees will be using.
Training is delivered remotely using Microsoft Teams, and there is no restriction on the number of employees who can attend.
We generally recommend training in two-hour, department-specific sessions. This gives employees time to put what they have learned into practice before progressing to the next area of the system.
Every training session is recorded and made available immediately afterwards, providing a useful reference for your team and an ongoing training resource for the future.
Ongoing support, regular upgrades and practical training — helping you get the most from Contract Controller..
To install and configure Contract Controller, full Administrator access will be required to the server and to each PC or laptop on which the Contract Controller client software is to be installed.
The Contract Controller server and all PCs or laptops running the software must be connected to your local area network (LAN) and have access to the internet.
Where users need to access Contract Controller from outside the office, appropriate remote access to your company network will also need to be provided.
Our team will work with your IT provider where required to help ensure a smooth installation and setup.
To provide fast and effective assistance, we use secure remote access for technical support, maintenance and software upgrades. Our remote support application will need to be installed on the server running 4D Server, together with any PCs or laptops where users may require assistance with Contract Controller.
Telephone and email support is available Monday to Friday, from 9:00am to 5:00pm, excluding English public holidays. Where there are any additional planned office closures, customers will be notified in advance by email.
Software upgrades are normally carried out outside your normal working hours, typically between 6:00pm and 6:30am, helping to minimise disruption to your business.
Our remote support facilities also allow us to work directly with users when required, enabling our support team to see what they are seeing and provide practical, real-time assistance.
