Getting accurate time sheets from the shop floor can sometimes be regarded as near impossible.
We have all been there, it’s time to hand in your time sheet, and, yes “I meant to do it as I went along last week. What was I doing last Monday? – Oh, I’ll just book it to such and such, it’s a big enough contract.”
With Contract Controller Time Sheet Collection pods, employees simply scan their ID and the contract item they are working on and that’s your time sheets all sorted.
The system will collate all the information to allow production managers or accounts to check and process the automatically formed tome sheet.
All employees and times correctly booked to the correct contract items.
With time sheets pods on the shop floor all employee activity from all Pods can be monitored. Be aware if employees are currently working on contracts or if they are working on non-contract items, such as machine maintenance, waiting for materials, workshop duties, etc.
Pods situated at strategic places on the shopfloor, enable users to scan which contract they are currently working on. The system allows for employees to scan at any Pod and all pods will display all employees’ activities from all Pods.
Employees might carry out different operations and will scan their relevant operation ID code to indicate what operation they are carrying out on the contract item.
The system will also know an employee’s shift pattern and will calculate single time, time & half & double time in accordance with this and book to job costing accordingly.
From the Time Sheet Home Screen, access is gained to all areas of the time sheet collection functions.
Time sheets may also be manually added or amended if not generated automatically by using Shop Floor Time Sheet Pods.
As items codes are scanned in the workshop, Production are immediately aware of how much time is being spent on individual items on the contract. Showing actual hours against those scheduled.
Time Sheets may be verified by management before being posted to job costing and many detailed reports may be generated from the collected time sheet data.
Full reporting on times when employees have clocked in and out. Time spent working on contracts is booked to the contract, taking care of job costing and all labour analysis, but reports are also available on when employees have clocked in and out for any given period.
Instantly generates a listing of employees that have clocked in to form a Fire Roll report to ensure that all personal have evacuated the building in the case of an emergency.
Each pod may be set to sound an alert at the start and end of a schedule lunch or break period. Employee shift matrix may be set so that a lunch break period is automatically deducted from the current item they are working on, preventing the unnecessary scanning off and on of items.
